Hello! I’d like to give you a brief outline of the course, as well as an overview of what each week will look like.
Each Week we will be reading 2 chapters from Kevin Schut’s book: Of Games and God: A Christian Exploration of Video Games (Amazon link). It should be available as Kindle or Audio-book in addition to paperback. Please make sure you have access to this book, as we will have questions and discussion around it.
Each Week we will have a “Game of the week” which we will spend some time studying, and answer questions about. One of the staff may even stream themselves playing it a bit, so we can have some live discussion (You’re welcome to stream as well). You will get the most out of the experience if you’re able to play them yourself, but if needed as a last-resort, watching a letsplay could work. The games are:

These meetings will be recorded. The speakers will be:
Feel free to make yourself heard on Discord, and any feedback on the course is appreciated. This is the first of it’s kind in YWAM, and we expect to learn as much as you do!
Finally, please do not use AI to help write your answers to things (unless otherwise specified in an assignment). We care more about your thought process, and your own personal perspective, than about trying to find the “right” answer, or the most eloquent one.
