Le séminaire AniMissions est un cours de 8 semaines qui se concentre sur la formation d’individus et d’équipes à la production de projets de courts métrages d’animation. Un stage facultatif sera proposé à la suite du cours, au cours duquel les étudiants pourront rejoindre notre équipe pour la production d’un court métrage d’animation.

Dave est diplômé de l’université d’État de Californie à Fullerton, avec une licence en art, et est illustrateur professionnel depuis plus de 35 ans. Lui et sa femme, Wendy, ont rejoint Create International en 2008, et ont été les pionniers de l’école de dessin animé et d’animation pour les missions (SoCAM) en Thaïlande, en 2010. Depuis 2002, Dave enseigne l’infographie dans les écoles de JEM du monde entier, y compris l’école d’illustration, l’école de design et l’école de communication numérique. Son style oscille entre le dessin technique réaliste et la bande dessinée fantaisiste, tant dans les médias traditionnels que dans l’art numérique. Il a également réalisé huit productions animées pour des groupes de personnes non atteintes en Asie.

Matthew a grandi dans une famille de militaires qui déménageait tous les trois ou quatre ans. Il a obtenu une licence en arts plastiques à l’université de Caroline du Sud, avec une spécialisation en graphisme. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a découvert les joies de la peinture avec Bob Ross. Pendant de nombreuses années, il a perfectionné ses talents de peintre et a également suivi une formation en informatique. Tout s’est enchaîné lorsqu’il s’est inscrit à la Full Sail University en Floride, où il a poursuivi sa formation dans le domaine de l’animation par ordinateur. Après avoir obtenu une licence en animation informatique, il travaille actuellement sur des projets indépendants et donne des cours à des étudiants en art. Matthew est également devenu un instructeur officiel de Bob Ross et se considère comme un artiste « numérique ». Il enseigne à la fois l’animation 3D et la peinture à l’huile Bob Ross (mais pas en même temps).
