Grease Pencil Illustration

In this Blender Grease Pencil course, we will cover in more detail the drawing and sculpting features as well as brushes, materials, and vertex colors. 

As we learn these skills, we will practice them by creating an illustrated scene in Grease Pencil. Here you have the option to follow along and submit your own version of the composition I will be demonstrating, or the second and more creative option is, to use the techniques and tools covered in the videos, to create your very own scene in Grease Pencil.

The scene we will be creating is based on the 1954 Disney film “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” by Jules Verne. I have provided the image from the film and my illustrated version for inspiration and as a reference for the objects and colors. Try to let your own style and creativity shine through this somewhat technical process.
