Culture and Contextualization

Discover what the Bible says about culture and how we can understand, respond to and communicate the good news across cultures. The course takes you through a brief, but important foundation of God’s perspective of culture and how Jesus and Paul communicate the gospel across cultures. We’ll look at a few cultural paradigms and how these impact the way that we communicate and contextualize the gospel message to each audience. We will examine examples along the way, and consider a variety of ways that we can use storytelling and film to bring the gospel message into each specific context.
